Based in Nicosia, Mr Kanellopoulos is a seasoned investment and finance professional with a 25-yr track record in investment banking, private equity, business development and financial management. He has worked in various renowned financial institutions in Europe including UBS, EFG Group and others.

During his career he has completed numerous M&A and private equity transactions exceeding 350 million Euro of value, as well as managed high growth companies in a wide array of sectors and markets, including Romania, Serbia, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus & Egypt.

Mr Kanellopoulos holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering with distinction from the National Technical University of Athens, an MS in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University in Massachusetts and has earned an MBA in Finance and Strategy from INSEAD, Fontainebleau. He also holds the advanced CISI/CySEC qualification for financial markets. Panos cooperates with Sigma Catalyst Partners as Senior Advisor and Partner for Cyprus-Nicosia office since January 2023.
